1 lt meat broth (hot)
1 cup boiled chick peas
1 cup boiled barley
700 gr strained yogurt
1 small egg
1,5 tablespoons flour
2 tablespoon Green Life Mint
1 dessert spoon Green Life Ground Black Pepper
250 gr ground beef
1 large onion, grated
Olive oil

Knead the ground beef, onion, black pepper and salt and make form balls in your palms. Heat a little olive oil in a pan to fry the meatballs (köfte).
Whisk the yogurt, flour and egg in a pot with a whisk. Gradually add meat broth while stirring. Cook to a boil while stirring. When it boils add the chick peas and barley and continue to cook on low heat until it thickens. Once it thickens add the meatballs you have fried. Remove the soup from the stove and adjust the salt.
Heat a little olive oil in a pan and add Green Life Mint and mix. After ladling the soup into bowls pour the olive oil and mint over the soup before serving.
